Dear fellow members,

I am happy to share with you the plans that are being drawn up for our Annual Day celebrations. This year we are keen to celebrate this in a new and unique fashion. We have decided to host a HR Carnival on the 4^th of July 2010. This will be designed to provide opportunities for all our members, their family and also HR Professionals in general to engage and enjoy on this occasion.

Just to give you a sense of the design, we shall have 3 key components:

“Fun Fair” – game stalls, food stalls

“Showcase” – best people practices from different organizations

“Centre Stage” – talent show, HR Quiz, entertainment

On this occasion, we shall also bring release a special souvenir to capture the growth and achievements of our Chapter over the 20+ years of its existence.

We hope that these will meet with your approval and be appreciated by you. More importantly, I invite all of you to join in the efforts to make this a grand success. We are also keen to generate some funds through these efforts, which we intend to add to our corpus (assiduously being built to acquire a place for NHRD Bangalore Chapter).

In this regard, I would request each one of you to use your contacts and network of friends to get sponsorships / advertisements. The appeals for which are being mailed to you separately. I am firm believer in the saying “little drops of water make the Ocean” hence, I shall look forward to all of you joining in this venture.
